Located near the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, this 14-unit multifamily renovation centered on full environmental modernization and infrastructure scaling. The project required transitioning the property away from legacy gas systems, demanding careful logistical management to integrate advanced electrical lines within an older, existing building footprint. DDE partnered closely with the development team to complete a comprehensive electrification overhaul across all 14 residential units, successfully eliminating gas interior heating and water heaters. To support the increased electrical loads of the new high-efficiency mechanical systems and fully updated modern kitchens, we engineered and installed a brand-new 400A main service. This utility upgrade included trenching and running a new lateral line to connect directly at the street.
