What does a Project Manager do?
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering successful projects from preconstruction through final completion within the context of DDE’s company culture and values. You’ll help with project planning and management, including preconstruction activities, scheduling, estimating, cost control, documentation control, job site production, and customer relations.

Qualifications – Must-Haves

• Proven expertise in managing all aspects of a construction project.
• Self-directed, self-motivated, and passionate about construction.
• Ability to lead and direct one or more project teams.
• Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Loyalty, humility, and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications – Nice to Have 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field, or 10+ years’ experience in electrical construction.
• Strong skills in the following software: Microsoft Word/Excel/Project, Project Management Software – Plangrid, and Procore are a big plus, Primavera or MS project Scheduling Software, Bluebeam/Adobe, and Revit and/or Navisworks.

What does a Project Lead do?
As A Project Lead, you will be the 2nd in command on the jobsite. You will assist with the supervision workers on the project. You will help ensure personnel safely complete the project tasks on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship within the context of DDE’s values and mission. You’ll help with project management, including quality, safety, schedule, cost control, jobsite production, and customer relations. You will spend most of your time leading our project team and interacting with our clients’ construction team.

Qualifications – Must-Haves

• Hands-on knowledge of building systems and techniques.
• Working knowledge of the NEC.
• Able to assist with the supervision and management of the project team.
• Strong craft skills and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to proactively and collaboratively solve problems.
• Unwavering commitment to safety. Knowledge of OSHA laws is a plus.
• Loyalty, humility, and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications – Nice to Have 

• California State General Electrician’s License
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Bluebeam.

What does an Electrician do?
As a journeymen Electrician, you are the foundation of the construction team. You construct and install the wiring, conduit, and lighting systems on the project. You will work safely and productively on the project. You will install work in a craftmanship like manner with a positive can do attitude. You will report directly to your project foreman and work collaboratively to make each project a success!

• Strong craft skills and able to work independently.
