To facilitate the highly anticipated San Francisco expansion of Everett & Jones Barbeque—an iconic East Bay family institution founded in 1973—DDE stepped in to complete a major restaurant modernization. Funded by the Port of San Francisco at Pier 47 in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf, this project focused on reviving a prominent waterfront venue that had been sitting inactive. Our primary challenge was navigating the historical and structural infrastructure guidelines of the Port authority while transforming the space to handle high-volume Southern barbecue operations.
