639 Geary San Francisco

This 14-story renovation project in San Francisco’s historic Nob Hill district required extensive electrical modernization across an occupied high-rise building. Tasked with upgrading common areas and individual tenant units throughout the entire structure, our team had to navigate the strict logistical constraints of working within an existing footprint while minimizing disruptions to residents.

We collaborated closely with property management and the general contractor to completely transform the building's residential, staff, and community spaces. This included a top-to-bottom renovation of the main leasing office and surrounding administrative areas, alongside a massive, floor-by-floor overhaul to deliver extensive energy-efficient lighting upgrades across all 14 stories. Additionally, DDE built out the electrical infrastructure for brand-new outdoor tenant event spaces on levels 1, 8, and 12, perfectly blending architectural aesthetic lighting with reliable outdoor power systems.
